# AI Translator Overview

**Note:** Translation is available on OnlyFans, Fansly and Telegram.

## Full Chat Translation

Full Chat Translation automatically translates all messages in a conversation, including both past messages and new incoming ones.

#### How to Use: 

1. Open any chat conversation.
2. Click on the **Translation widget** on the right-hand side.
3. Select the target language from the dropdown.
4. Toggle **"Show Original Text"** ON to display both original and translated messages side by side, or leave it OFF to show translations only. 
5. Click **"Enable Translation"**.

Once enabled, the full conversation will translate immediately. All new messages will continue to appear in your selected language.

#### Source Language Detection and Management

Manual source language selection is especially important for semantically similar languages. Accurate source language identification ensures natural and contextually appropriate translations.

The translation widget now includes enhanced source language management for improved translation accuracy:

**How It Works:**

* **Automatic Detection on First Use** — When you enable translation for the first time in any chat, the system automatically detects the chat's language and saves it locally for your account.
* **Default detection** — The detected language becomes your default source language for all future chats on the account, ensuring consistent translation settings across conversations.
* **Custom setup** — If a specific chat's translation isn't working correctly (for example, if the automatic detection was wrong), you can:

1. Open the Translation widget.
2. Manually select the correct source language from the "From" dropdown.
3. The system will save this language for all chats.

## Translate Individual Messages

This feature lets you translate one message at a time, giving you full control over which content to translate.

#### How to Use:

1. Open any chat conversation.&#x20;
2. Click the **Translation widget** on the right.&#x20;
3. Select your target language from the dropdown.
4. Click **"Translate"** beneath any message you want to translate.&#x20;

This allows you to translate messages individually, giving you more control and enabling tailored communication for each chat message.

## Outgoing Message Translation

Outgoing Message Translation helps members instantly translate their messages into other languages before sending, ensuring clear and natural communication with fans worldwide.

The widget offers two translation modes — **Default** and **Native** — and includes optional message enhancements to adjust the tone and formatting of your text before sending.

#### Translation Modes

There are two modes available:

* **Default Mode** —  Provides direct, grammatical translation. This mode works for a wide range of language pairs and ensures clear, literal meaning. Default mode delivers accurate, word-for-word translations that maintain the original structure and tone of your message. It is ideal for straightforward communication where precision and clarity are the priority.&#x20;
* **Native Mode** — This mode transforms your text into natural, conversational speech that sounds authentic and engaging. Instead of literal word-for-word translation, Native Mode creates messages that feel human, lively, and culturally appropriate. This mode prioritizes naturalness and emotional tone over strict grammatical accuracy, making your messages feel authentic and emotionally resonant.

#### Message Enhancements

The Translate Message widget includes additional options to adjust the tone and formatting of your message before sending:

**Lowercase** — Converts your message to lowercase. Mimics the casual, fast-paced style typical of messaging, making chats feel more personal and spontaneous.

**No Commas** — Removes all commas from your message. Creates a more conversational, uninterrupted flow — closer to how people naturally speak.

Both options appear as checkboxes inside the widget. Enable either or both before clicking Paste to apply them together with your translation.

#### How to Use

1. Open any chat conversation.&#x20;
2. Start by typing your message in the input field.
3. Click on the **Translation widget**.
4. Choose the **source language** (the language your message is written in) and the **target language** (the language you want it to be translated into).

**Important Note:** Selecting the correct source language is recommended. Auto-detection may occasionally misidentify semantically similar languages, which can affect translation accuracy.

5. Select your **preferred translation** (Default or Native, if available for your language pair) style.
6. Optionally, enable **Lowercase** or **No Commas** checkboxes to adjust the formatting of the translated message.
7. Click **Paste** to apply and insert the translated message into the input field

Once configured, your translation settings are preserved. Every time you use the Translation widget, your message will be automatically translated according to your saved preferences. These settings persist even after restarting OnlyMonster.

## Keyboard Shortcuts

#### Windows:

Alt + A - Translate with preview (keeps original text in input field for review)

Alt + S - Translate and auto-paste (immediately replaces input with translated text)

#### MacOS:

Option + A - Translate with preview (keeps original text in input field for review)\
Option + S - Translate and auto-paste (immediately replaces input with translated text)\

When using the **preview shortcut** (Alt/Option + A), your original text remains visible in the input field, allowing you to review the translation before pasting it. The **auto-paste shortcut** (Alt/Option + S) instantly replaces your original text with the translated version for immediate sending.

## Mass Messages and Posts Translation

The AI Translator is also available when composing Mass Messages and Posts, enabling you to reach a global audience effectively. Use it to:

* Translate campaign messages
* Localize posts for international fans
* Reach a broader audience with culturally relevant language.&#x20;
