# Message Templates

Message Templates is a powerful template management system that allows you to create, organize, and quickly deploy pre-written messages across your OnlyFans and Fansly conversations. With intuitive folder organization and seamless platform integration, you can streamline workflows, ensure messaging consistency, and respond to fans faster, while still keeping it personal.

## Overview

The template system provides a centralized hub where you can organize messages into custom folders and access them instantly during conversations.

Templates can include:

* **Text** **and** **emojis**
* **Dynamic fan name** variables
* **Media files**
* **Paid content** pricing options

Templates are accessible in **ChatSpace** and directly on the **OnlyFans** and **Fansly** platforms via a widget.

## Creating Templates

### **Setting Up Your First Template**

To create templates in the Control Panel, select an account from the dropdown menu and set up your folder structure. You can also create folders and templates directly in **ChatSpace** (see Using Templates in ChatSpace).

Creating a new folder:

1. Select the account from the dropdown list. The list includes all accounts, each marked with an icon of its platform (**OnlyFans or Fansly**).
2. In the **Folders** column, click the ➕ icon.
3. Enter a folder name and press **Enter** to save.

Once you have at least one folder created, you can start adding templates to it.

### Building Your Template

After selecting a folder, click the **Create Template** button to open the template editor.

#### Message Text

Write your message in the main text field.

* You can type or paste text from other sources.
* Click the ➕ icon to add emojis anywhere in the message.
* There’s no length limit.

### **Dynamic Fan Names**

Templates support dynamic personalization, allowing you to automatically insert a fan's name into your message. This feature helps maintain a personal connection even when using pre-written templates.

#### Available name options include:

* **Fan's Name** - Uses the name from the fan's profile
* **Custom Name** - Uses a custom name you've assigned to the fan
* **Fan's Name → Custom Name** - Prioritizes the fan's profile name, falling back to custom name if unavailable
* **Custom Name → Fan's Name** - Prioritizes your custom name, falling back to the profile name if unavailable

#### First Word from Name

When selecting **Fan's Name** as your personalization option, you can enable a toggle to use only the **first word from the name**. This is particularly useful for extracting first names from full names, making your messages feel more casual and personal.

#### Fallback Name

If neither a fan name nor a custom name is available, you can set a **fallback name** that will be used instead, ensuring your message always feels personal.

#### Message Pricing

Templates can be configured with paid content options. You can set pricing for both the message text itself and attached media.

Available pricing options:

* **Paid Text** - Set a price for the message content itself, creating a locked message that fans must unlock to read
* **Paid Media** - Attach media files with a set price, requiring fans to purchase before viewing

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: When setting prices, use a comma (,) as the decimal separator (for example, 4,99 rather than 4.99).
{% endhint %}

### Notes

Use the **Notes** field to add internal comments visible only to your team. Examples:

* “Use after sending teaser”
* “Pairs with offer #3 media set”
* “Only for active subscribers”

#### Saving Your Template

Click **Create** once everything is set. Your template is now ready for use.

## Managing Templates

### **Template Dashboard Overview**

After selecting an account, the dashboard shows all templates organized by folder.

* The left sidebar displays folders (newest at the top).
* The main board shows template content, order, notes, media count, and pricing. For OnlyFans accounts, it also shows performance metrics (see Template Metrics).

### **Folder Management**

Folder management lets you organize your templates and **copy folders (templates)** to other accounts.

Click the three-dot menu next to any folder to:

* **Create a new template** in this folder
* **Rename** the folder
* **Copy the folder to other accounts using the Copy to Accounts option**
* **Delete** the folder (deletes all templates inside).

### Template Board

The main template board displays all messages within the selected folder in a comprehensive table view. Each row represents one template and displays key information at a glance.

#### Reordering Templates

Templates are ordered by a number that controls their display position in both:

* The OnlyMonster dashboard
* The platform widget

To reorder:

1. Hover over the drag handle beside the number
2. Click and drag to reposition
3. Release to save the new order (numbers auto-update).

### **Template Information Display**

Each template row shows:

* **Order Number** - The template's position in the sequence
* **Message Text** - Preview of the message content with an indicator showing how many media files are attached
* **Notes** - Any internal notes added for team reference
* **Price** - The set price for paid content (if applicable)
* **Performance metrics** - Sends, Replies, Reply rate, Purchases, Purchase rate, and Revenue (OnlyFans accounts only, see [Template Metrics](#template-metrics))

### **Template Actions**

Hover over the right side of any template row to reveal a three-dot menu icon. Clicking this menu provides access to template-specific actions:

* **Edit** - Modify the template content and settings
* **Move** - Transfer the template to a different folder
* **Delete** - Remove the template permanently

### **Template Metrics**

The template board shows performance metrics for each template, so you can see which messages drive conversations and sales and which ones need to be reworked.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** Template Metrics are currently available for OnlyFans accounts only. Metrics for Fansly accounts will be added in future updates. &#x20;
{% endhint %}

| Metric        | Description                                                                |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Sends | Total number of messages sent from the template |
| Replies | Number of sent templates the fan replied to within 72 hours of sending |
| Reply rate | Percentage of sent templates the fan replied to (Replies / Sends × 100) |
| Purchases | Number of sent templates that were purchased |
| Purchase rate | Percentage of sent templates that were purchased (Purchases / Sends × 100) |
| Revenue | Total net revenue from template purchases |

*Sends, Purchases, Purchase rate, and Revenue are tracked since October 15, 2026. Replies and Reply rate are tracked since October 24, 2026.* &#x20;

## Using Templates in ChatSpace

**Message Templates** are available in **ChatSpace**. You can not only use templates in conversations, but also **create and edit them right in the chat,** which helps your team work faster without switching to the control panel. Click the Templates button at the top right of the message input to open the template panel.

In **ChatSpace**, you can:

* **Create folders**
* **Create and edit templates**
* **Search for folders and messages** using the search field at the top of the template panel
* Turn on the **Hide sent toggle** to hide templates that have already been sent
* **Send** a template as a follow-up message using the arrow next to Send
* **Save any sent message as a template**

To save a sent message as a template:

1. Click the three-dot menu next to the message
2. Select **Save as Template**

<figure><img src="https://3576754298-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FJ3tUjWV0i06zjZEIvwPN%2Fuploads%2F1JXINAtkEr0xcvgbmIBi%2F%D0%BA%D0%B5%D0%BA%D0%B5%D0%BA.png?alt=media&amp;token=e878ca31-81f5-4b8d-985d-df5e3ceb9143" alt="" width="455"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Sending a Template as a Follow-Up Message**

**Click the arrow** next to Send to schedule the template as a follow-up message. In the Send Follow-up Message in... menu:

* Choose a preset delay: 1, 5, 15, 30, 60, or 120 min
* Or enter a custom delay in the Minutes (0–120) and Seconds (0–59) fields and click Schedule
* Turn on Cancel if a new Message Received to cancel the follow-up if a new message is received before it is sent

This scheduling also works in **Sequences** in ChatSpace.&#x20;

## Using Templates&#x20;

#### Opening the Template Widget

You can access templates while chatting with fans on OnlyFans or Fansly.

* Click the template icon (next to the **Translator widget**), or the **Templates button at the top right of the message input in ChatSpace**
* Or press Tab&#x20;
* Press Esc to close the panel.

#### **Inserting and Sending Templates**

Once the template panel is open, browse through your folders to find the message you need. Click on any folder to view its templates.

When you hover over a template, action buttons appear:

1. **Insert** - This option loads the template into the message input field as an editable draft. You can review the message, make any necessary adjustments or personalizations, and then send it manually. This is useful when you want to customize the template slightly before sending.
2. **Send** - This option immediately sends the template without any edits. The message is sent exactly as configured, including any dynamic name variables, pricing, and media attachments.
3. **Edit** - This option opens the template so you can make changes to it. ***Available in ChatSpace only.***

<figure><img src="https://3576754298-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FJ3tUjWV0i06zjZEIvwPN%2Fuploads%2FELHvla9bXr22nHhdZnP8%2F%D0%BA%D1%83%D0%B5%D1%83%D0%BA%D0%B5%D1%83%D0%BA.png?alt=media&amp;token=fae93983-0f07-43b3-a8cc-fe9af35eb35a" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Navigation Assistance

After sending a template in the legacy interface, the system provides contextual guidance to help you continue the conversation. A small widget appears below the Fans Overview widget, displaying the next template in the sequence from your selected folder.

When you send that template, the widget automatically updates to show the following one —continuing step by step through your predefined message sequence. &#x20;

You can send templates directly from this widget, making it easy to guide conversations through pre-planned message sequences. Once you reach the end of the sequence, the widget will no longer display additional templates, indicating that the message flow is complete.

In **ChatSpace**, the navigation widget is available in the **Widget Hub**, in the **Sequences section**.

In **ChatSpace**, you can also hide templates that have already been sent with the **Hide sent** toggle in the template panel.

<figure><img src="https://3576754298-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FJ3tUjWV0i06zjZEIvwPN%2Fuploads%2FcNknxRoSLHreRyF7fMiG%2F%D0%BE%D0%BF%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%BA%D0%BF%D0%BA.png?alt=media&amp;token=56acc199-05dd-44b9-8f53-700460a98201" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### **Previewing Media**

If a template contains media:

* A media icon will appear in the preview
* Hover over it, click a file to preview it in a new tab.

This preview functionality helps you verify that you're sending the correct template with the appropriate media before clicking Insert or Send.

### Permissions

Access to Message Templates is controlled through permissions.

* Team members with **View Public Templates** permission can browse and use templates in conversations, but cannot create, edit, or delete them.
* Team members with **Edit Public Templates** permission have full management capabilities, including creating, editing, deleting templates, and managing folders.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note:** You can also upload templates through support. To do this, prepare your templates in CSV or XLS format and send them to our support team.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.onlymonster.ai/members-features/message-templates.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
