# Chat Space

Chat Space is a dedicated interface for chatting. It brings everything your team needs to work with an audience into one lightweight, standalone window — separate from the main OnlyMonster interface.

Chat Space is currently available for OnlyFans. Support for other platforms will be added later.

This article is not a step-by-step manual. It's a quick reference that shows where each feature lives in the interface, so your team can find what they need without guessing.

Chat Space is a new feature, and we're actively shaping it. If you're already using it, please take a minute to share your experience — [fill in the feedback form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScDNotxLblCctvhW5oxrskTmjtEcJCtfu9bGNaCxUiMubhBLQ/viewform). Your input directly influences what we build next.

### Getting Started

#### Permissions

Access to Chat Space is controlled by a separate set of permissions. Assign them to the relevant roles before your team starts working.

* Chat Space — opens Chat Space and enables work inside it.
* OnlyFans Mass Messages (View + Edit) — required to send OnlyFans mass messages from Chat Space. With this permission, a shortcut button appears that takes the member straight to the mass message composer.
* Media Uploader — required to upload content from a local device. Uploading from a device is disabled by default; grant this permission to enable it.

A full permissions reference is available at the end of this article.

#### Opening Chat Space

1. Click the Chat Space button. A panel with all available accounts opens.
2. Click the creator you want to work with. The chat list for that account opens.

To switch or add creators, use the plus icon in the bottom-right corner.

### Working in Chat Space

Chat Space is built for fast, intuitive work. Controls are grouped so members can reach them without leaving the conversation.

#### Window Controls

In the top-right corner you can:

* Switch between light and dark theme
* Turn on SFW mode to blur content

#### Chat List

The chat list is displayed on the left side of the screen.

| Action | Where to find it |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Open a chat | Click the chat in the list |
| Open a chat in a new tab | Hover over the right corner of the chat — useful when working with several conversations at once |
| Mark as unread | Hover over the top-left corner of the chat and click Mark as unread |
| Close the current chat | Click the arrow next to the fan's name |
| Clear a chat | Hover over the top-right corner of the chat and click the cross. Requires the Chat Hiding & Fan Blocking permission |

**Pinned Fan Lists**

To keep frequently used lists within reach, click the pencil icon in the chat list. All available lists are displayed — pin and arrange them the way your workflow requires.

**Display Settings**

Click the gear icon above the chat list to hide creator chats (verified non-spenders) and muted chats. Adjust the selection to match your team's preferences.

**Inboxes**

The folder icon in the top section opens Inboxes — advanced group chat splitting. It's available only when the feature is enabled on the account. See the Inboxes article for setup details.

#### Top Bar Tools

* Search — find fans by name or username.
* Refresh — reload the chat list.
* OnlyFans Mass Messages — opens the control panel where you can create a standard OnlyFans mass message. The functionality fully mirrors native OnlyFans mass messages.
* To review campaign statistics or unsend campaigns, click the back arrow after opening the panel. You'll land on the page listing all campaigns.
* To cancel a campaign, click its status and select Unsend.
* Notifications — click the bell icon to view your notifications.

### Chat and Fan Information

Opening a chat gives you the full toolset for working with a fan.

#### Fan Details

* Custom name and emoji — edit directly in the chat header.
* Lists — click the star under the fan's name to add the fan to a list or remove them from one. The list of available lists opens with a search field.
* Buying Power — displayed next to the fan's icon in the chat list.
* Total Spend — total amount the fan has spent on the account, shown on the fan card.
* Subscription status — shown below the fan's icon: subscribed or expired, along with the duration.
* New Fan — badge that highlights recently subscribed fans.
* Custom labels — additional labels attached to the fan card to help the team categorize the audience.
* Mute — the bell icon mutes and unmutes the fan, and also indicates the current status.

#### Chat Toolbar

Several controls on the right of the chat header speed up everyday work:

* Refresh chat — a separate option so you can reload a single conversation without reloading everything else.
* Open in a new tab — opens the current chat in an additional tab.
* Side panel toggle — shows or hides the panel with fan widgets and notes.
* Three-dot menu — copy a link to the fan's profile or to the current chat, hide the chat, or restrict the user. Chat hiding and user restriction require the corresponding permissions.

#### Side Panel: Fan's Overview and Fan Notes

The side panel contains two widgets:

* Fan's Overview — date of birth, preferences, subscription status and history, the lists the fan belongs to, Buying Power, spending history, traffic source, and traffic link.
* Fan Notes — add notes about the fan exactly as you would in the legacy interface.

### Translator

Chat Space includes two translation tools:

* Outgoing message translator — becomes active once you enter text in the message input field.
* Full page translator — located on the right side of the screen and translates all text on the page.

{% hint style="info" %} For accurate results, select the source language manually instead of relying on auto-detect. Auto-detection may misidentify semantically similar languages. {% endhint %}

### Message Templates

Templates are integrated directly into the chat. Open the templates widget by pressing the / hotkey in the message input field, or open it manually using the Templates button.

### Message Input Field

The following tools are available in the message input field:

* Emojis
* Attach media from the Vault
* Upload media from your device — requires the Media Uploader permission
* Set a message price
* Tag the creator
* Fonts and text formatting

### Vault

#### Media Preview

For media already uploaded to the Vault, preview is available directly in Chat Space:

1. Open the Vault and click a file.
2. Click Play to start playing a video file.
3. Expand a file to full screen for a closer look.
4. Use playback controls to skip to a specific moment instead of watching the entire video.

#### Search

The Vault search has been updated:

* Search by tag — select a tag from the dropdown to display all media in the folder that carries it.
* Search by description — find media by the text in its description.

{% hint style="info" %} The first time you open the Vault, media statuses are synchronized. This may take a moment. You can check progress at the bottom of the Vault — once the status sync (purchased, free) is complete, a clock icon appears along with the time the sync finished. {% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.onlymonster.ai/onlymonster-browser/chat-space.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
