Shared Reports in Traffic Metrics

Shared Reports provide a secure way to share traffic analytics with external partners without granting access to your admin panel. This feature is particularly valuable for users collaborating with traffic providers, enabling selective data sharing while maintaining complete control over your system.

Overview

The Shared Reports feature is accessible from the Traffic Metrics page through the Shared Reports button.

Creating a Shared Report

After clicking the Create Shared Report button, you'll need to configure several key parameters that determine what your partner will see:

Report Configuration

Report Name — Assign a descriptive name to help identify the report's purpose or recipient. This internal label helps you manage multiple shared reports efficiently.

Attribution Type — Select the earnings attribution model that matches how you track revenue with this partner:

  • Rolling Attribution — Earnings are credited to the fan's most recent subscription link. When a fan subscribes through a new link, all future earnings shift to that latest source.

  • Double Attribution — Earnings are attributed to every link the fan has subscribed to. The first subscription includes all future earnings, while later subscriptions track only new spending without affecting earlier links.

Earnings Type — Choose between Net Earnings (after OnlyFans commission) or Gross Earnings (total revenue before deductions).

Metrics Selection

By default, all metrics are selected when creating a new report. You can deselect any metrics that aren't relevant to your partner's needs.

You must select at least one metric to create a report.

Campaign Selection

Choose which traffic campaigns the report should display. You can select individual Tracking Links and Trial Links, or include Direct Traffic data. The system allows you to combine different traffic types within a single shared report, giving you flexibility in presenting comprehensive or focused analytics to your partners.

Report Validity and Renewal

Every shared report is active for 180 days from creation. This time-limited approach ensures that outdated reports don't accumulate and provides a natural checkpoint for reviewing ongoing partnerships.

Report Status Indicators

The system tracks report status throughout its lifecycle:

Active — Report is currently accessible and updating normally. Partners can view all configured data.

Expire Soon — The report is approaching its expiration date. The Renew button becomes active one month before expiration, allowing you to extend access proactively.

Expired — The 180-day period has ended. Partners attempting to access an expired report will see a message: "Please contact the link owner to extend its validity." The report remains visible in your management list but is no longer accessible to partners.

The system also tracks status transitions, showing when expired reports have been renewed through the Expired > Renewed status flow.

Renewing Reports

When you renew a report using the Renew button, the validity period resets to 180 days from the renewal date. This process is immediate, restoring partner access without requiring a new link.

Each renewal extends the report for another complete 180-day period.

Report Management

The Shared Reports management interface displays all your created reports in a comprehensive table format. This centralized view provides quick access to essential information about each shared link:

Report Link — The shareable URL that provides access to the report

Creation Date — The date when the shared report was generated

Expiration Date — Shows when the current validity period ends

Campaigns — Lists which traffic campaigns are included in the report

Metrics — Displays which performance indicators are visible to the partner

Actions — Provides options to delete or renew the report

When you hover over a report row, an arrow icon appears. Clicking this arrow opens the full report view, allowing you to preview exactly what your partner will see.

Report View and Filtering

When you open a shared report (either through the management interface or via the shared link), two filter options are available for more precise analysis:

Campaign Filter — Allows you to narrow the view to specific campaigns that were included in the report. This helps focus on particular traffic sources without viewing all data at once.

Time Range Filter — Enables you to adjust the date range for the displayed metrics.

Deleting Reports

You can permanently remove shared reports that are no longer needed. Deletion immediately revokes partner access and removes the link from your management interface. This action cannot be undone, so ensure the report is no longer required before proceeding.

Data Updates and Performance

Shared Reports are designed to provide partners with current information while maintaining system stability and security.

Automatic Updates

Report data refreshes automatically every hour, ensuring partners have access to recent performance metrics without manual intervention. This regular update cycle balances data freshness with system resource efficiency.

Time Range Considerations

Shared Reports apply automatic time ranges to the displayed data. Currently, reports show the last 90 days of traffic metrics, aligning with the report validity period. This ensures partners can view comprehensive recent performance while maintaining system efficiency.

Shared Report Permissions

All shared report management actions require the Edit Traffic Metrics permission. This includes:

  • Creating new shared reports

  • Renewing existing reports

  • Deleting reports

  • Modifying report configurations
